Do we have to be friends with co-workers (Week 5)

We do not have to be friends with our coworkers. But that is very different from having respect and authority for them, we can’t be ignorant, disrespectful or even ignore them. In the work environment you must put your differences aside for the sake of the job, customers and other employees. It is not fair if you and a coworker act obnoxiously and prevent other employees from working consistently. You may not have to be close friends who spend time outside of work but you can still be good co workers who are friendly to another in the work environment. That is also how work should be… professional keep all personal business outside of work and all things work related in work or to yourself.
